Rate
Rate is a parameter that describes a process. Rate is how fast or slow the process goes, and a rate is included in each process. For example, your heart beats, which is a process. How fast it beats is its rate. Like any other parameter, rate can be influenced by other parameters, or increased or decreased by processes.
