PropulsionHow do conventional rockets work? |
DS1 did not use either of its onboard propulsion systems to get into space. DS1 was ferried into space by a Delta II rocket, a rocket commonly used to put satellites or space probes into space. Once DS1 was in space and all systems are deployed and working, it was pushed forward by its own propulsions systems.
