USING VMODEL

How do I use the Vmodel software?

You make, analyze, store and reuse models (or parts of them) with this software. Different parts of the workspace are for different functions.

Once you open a model, the screen will look like this:

You work on models in the workspace on the left. To know how to make a model go to the help section on how to make a model.

The panel on the right has information, building blocks and help for you.

• In the project section you can get general information about how to use Vmodel, or any specific info that your teacher might have put in for you. Click the blue links like you do in any web site to get around, or use the back and forth buttons.
• In the library section, you can get basic model building blocks. Or you can get any models or described basic objects that you put in "my library". To use something from the library, click on it, and then click onto your open model in build mode.
• The coach tab gives you specific feedback about your model. It will tell you about whether you are putting it together right when you're in build mode, or it will tell you about what the model says in analysis mode.
